Ladri in biciclette is an Italian Neorealist film lifting the story everyday life and the live from society of lower class workers. Directed by Vittorio de Sica and written by Cesare Zavattini, this film revolves around Antonio Ricci who finally managed to get a job as a poster handyman. The job requires that Ricci has a bike, which he and Maria must mortgage. The bike was stolen when Ricci performs his first assignment.
