Jejak Petjinan is a community that wants to trace the Chinese in Indonesia either still exist or that have been buried by time and with no visible traces anymore. This movement began with a cultural and historical activities called Melantjong Petjinan Soerabaia (MPS) on December 27, 2009. After the events of the 2nd MPS on February 21, 2010, Jejak Petjinan was formed to facilitate the search activity and history traces the lives of Chinese culture in Indonesia.
